The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) honors the contributions of the SWE groups and members and recognizes their success and contribution to the society and education by providing additional awards in WE Local conferences.

• In 2020 our club was honored with the We Local Outstanding Professional Development Event award.
• In 2019 our club was honored with the We Local Outstanding Outreach Event award.

 

WE Local Outstanding Professional Development Event: This award recognizes a group or groups who plan and carry out high quality professional development events that help SWE members achieve their professional goals and aspire to professional success.

Outstanding Outreach Event Award: The Outstanding Outreach Event Award recognizes groups which plan and carry out a high-quality outreach event to  inspire future engineers. A maximum of twelve (12) awards will be presented annually. Effort will be made to award  groups of all sizes.
