8 March International Women’s Day is a date that KUSWE cherishes very much. As a student clubs and an affiliate, it is our goal to promote female high school student to study STEM and help aspiring STEM students to further their skills and abilites. Therefore, every year on 8th of March, we are organizing events to celebrate all laboring women. Last year on International Women’s Day, we wanted to use pandemic-related online shift to our advantage by hosting a seminar with Prof.Dr. Filiz Garip, who is a faculty member focusing on economic sociology at Princeton University. We would like to thank Prof.Dr. Filiz Garip for allocating time from her busy schedule and joining us in our seminar.
